Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. Overview
Headroom Advisors ("Headroom," "we," "us," or "our") provides fractional COO and operational advisory services to plumbing and field service companies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through headroomadvisors.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you submit an application or inquiry through our contact form:
- Contact details, name, email address, company name
- Business information, industry, annual revenue range, service of interest
- Application content, the operational challenges and goals you describe to us
We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers on this Site. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and why.
To prevent abuse of our forms, we keep a simple count of recent submissions against a one-way, irreversible (hashed) form of your email address and IP address. The addresses themselves are not stored in these records, the records are used only to enforce a submission limit, and only submissions from the previous seven days are counted.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To evaluate and respond to applications for advisory sessions, project engagements, and Fractional COO relationships
- To communicate with you about your application or an active engagement
- To improve the Site and our services
- To comply with legal obligations
Applications are reviewed personally by our co-founders. We do not add applicants to a marketing mailing list or send unsolicited follow-up offers.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Application and inquiry forms on this Site are processed by Netlify, our web hosting and forms provider, which transmits submissions to us. We may also share information with other service providers who support our operations (such as scheduling or email), each bound by confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
5. With Your Permission, Case Studies
If you complete a founding client session, we may ask for your permission to feature an anonymized version of your engagement as a case study on our podcast or content channels. We will never do so without your explicit, separate consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain application and engagement information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email address below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
10. Contact Us
